Something that I've been keeping rather quiet is that for the past few months, I've been working with Design Cuts creating a vlog series documenting the growth and development of The Cotswold Chalkboard, as a business very much in its infancy.
The reason I've been a little quiet about it is that behind the professional sheen of a website, this feels very personal and real - it shows when things go wrong, when things aren't ideal (such as working in to the night!) and when setbacks are faced.
Hopefully though, it also shares when things go well and the genuine excitement of the business growing from a personal, human perspective. It is, afterall, still a one-woman operation.
Having just recorded a podcast interview with Design Cuts (which I'll share here when published), the importance of putting yourself out there and showing the more personal side of the business became apparent.
This is very much a 'behind-the-scenes' of The Cotswold Chalkboard!
There's a lot of late nights and even more coffee, but also some insight in to what's involved in creating the work and growing something I can be proud of, by developing as a designer and also to provide a service that brings real value to you and your business.
Now that you've seen a little more about me, I'd love to get to know more about you! Please do get in touch if you've watched an episode and want to tell me about yourself and/or if you have any questions - it'd be wonderful to hear from you!
